I us a regular A4 paper.

Great artwork guys, I just did my very first one (Transformers) I will upload a picture of it tomorrow as it was just a quick one but I managed to do the spine artwork aswell (and it all lines up nicely :P

I kept the spine artworks either, but it seemed to me too risky to remove the spine ... I'm really impatient to see what you did on the spine, and if you found a safe way to remove it and then put it back, could you explain us the whole process

Hope you like, I just used a card and kind of gently pushed downwards so the spine raised off gently. Didnt do any damage to mine at all

Got inspired while reading this thread, so i gave it a go.

None of my steelbooks have been dented, luck and skill so far

Red Cliff [NL] and Transformers [DE]

Casino Royale [DE] and No Country For Old Men [DE]

I personally love my take on transformers and no country.
For No Country, i played the blu-ray and searched for a fitting image which i could use.

@No Country : those are my hands taking the photo, its not on the print !
