Default The Faculty, Halloween Trilogy?

I am interested in buying

The Faculty

&

Halloween Blu-ray Triple

but it seems it is only available through Canada. They both can still play in region A

should I buy both or is there a chance they will release it in the US?

I was thinking the Faculty should get a special edition but that hasn't happened?

Well since they are both owned by Dimension in the US they are in limbo until the company figures its sh*t out. So for now these are the best you're going to get for awhile.

I know up here in Canada 'The Faculty' is usually pretty cheap as well. You can find it for around $9.99 in most places. Buy it then double dip if need be.

I picked the Halloween triple feature for only $25 through axelmusic. All three movies on 1 disc...and the pq is great, especially on Curse.

The Faculty never even got an anamorphic DVD re-release from Miramax, so it'll probably be a hell of a long time before we see a US Blu of it. The Alliance BD is actually one of their better releases and looks and sounds quite good.

Looks like us US residents might see 6 through Resurrection after all. Anchor Bay just bought the rights to Weinstein and Dimension titles! This means that they will own all but Halloween II and III (owned by Universal). Technically, they could release an 8 disc box set, or maybe even the infamous Producer's Cut of 6!

And before we get to the title announcement news, here's the big story today: Starz has sold a 25% equity stake in Starz Media to The Weinstein Company, in exchange for which Weinstein and Starz' Anchor Bay have entered into a multi-year agreement to for DVD, Blu-ray and digital distribution of Weinstein catalog films. This will include up to 20 Weinstein and Dimension titles per year, including new films like The King's Speech, Blue Valentine and Company Men. Other films to be released include Sarah's Key, the Scream, Spy Kids and Scary Movie franchises, and new installments of the Halloween, Hellraiser and Children of the Corn series, among other titles. Very good news indeed!
