![]() Basically the main difference is that VC-1 and AVC are newer advanced video codecs so they are more efficient (they can shrink the files smaller while retaining quality) and they have new features and tools to make the compression look better which they are learning to use now. MPEG-2 has the advantage that it's matured, looks fine at higher bitrates and is quicker to do (A time is money advantage when making titles) |
