Default newbie needs help...
hi guys,
i recently got a new tv, and i have the oppurtunity to pick up a blu ray player for a great price. i'm not sure if it is worth it or not, because i don't know if my tv is 'full hd' or not... im very new to all of this and find it all a bit confusing, and i was wondering if somebody could help me out...

my tv model is: hitachi 42PD7300TA 42" plasma... it does say HDMI on there. here is a link to the manual and specs:
