Default Maleku's Home Theatre

Hey all, HT snaps are now under my Home Theatre Gallery.

Running:

Display : 60" Pioneer Kuro Elite 151FD
A/V Receiver : Pioneer Elite SC-25
BD Player : OPPO BDP 83

Speakers : Paradigm

Fronts: Studio 60's
Centre : CC-490
Surrounds : ADP 590's (rear wall mounted)
Subwoofer: Sub 12

Future projects include sound treating the room and possibly upgrading the centre to a CC-690

Cheers

Hey man, welcome!!

When you have a chance, you should move your pictures from the album to a gallery. If you click on the 0 to the right of Home Theater Gallery: (under your name in each post) you'll find the gallery, then upload there.

What's under that cover...under your center channel?

Welcome to the blu-ray.com. As NorCo_1806 said, it's much better if you move your pics to a gallery. Actually it will also be automatically resized there.

Thanks for the welcome! Pics are now under my gallery.

Under the cover are my components. My wife thinks I am insane but I insist on a completely dark room when watching movies. The lights from the BDP and receiver are a little distracting.

Cheers

The color of those Paradigms is fantastic, I really can't get enough of it. With the Paradigms being powered by the Elite while the Oppo 83 delivers your blu-rays, you have a really nice set-up in there. Good job!

I left a comment and a rating as well. Please feel free to review my gallery and leave a rating as well.

Thanks a lot. Still a work in progress, I wouldn't mind sound treating the room at some point.

Saw your HT and left you a comment/rating. Amazing what you have done with your room. You must receive an incredible effect from your surrounds with that positioning.

To answer your question you left in the comments section, the color of my Studios is called Rosenut.

Cheers

How hot does your equipment get? Do you ever check?

I love the rosenut, it is by far the best color cabinet they make. It is real classy looking. Oh, by the way, I think you may not be able to rate another one's gallery yet, as there is no rating posted. I believe you need to post up to 7 or 10 times before they will allow you to rate another person's gallery. But I appreciate the comments, and hopefully you'll drop on by again and give me that rating.

When I first put the cover on I would check all the time. I used a fabric that is fairly breatheable and the sides are left uncovered.

I was super sceptical at first though.

I understand liking it dark, but that looks so scary. If you tested and feel comfortable about it, that's all that matters.

Beautiful set-up you have, that's for sure!!!!!
