OK cool I think tonight's was one of the best Community episodes and really hope that Big Bang Theory doesn't hurt it to much in the long run.

I'm curious about that myself, I wonder if Community will have a big ratings increase like Modern Family did last night. It gained 4 million viewers since it's finale, and over a full point higher on it's 18-49 share which is epic. I still have another hour til it airs...............

I hope it raises but anyways you will love this episode one of my favorites premiers this season and one of my favorite shows in general and had me laughing the whole time.

I think that if the show can have even a little growth it will be successful. The first season pilot had 7.6 million viewers but averaged around 5.0 million, while BBT averaged somewhere around 11 million. However I think that considering The Vampire Diaries and Bones are now in competition with it, it might cause BBT to level out lower or it could stay the same. We won't really know until tomorrow afternoon.

Yeah I think Bones and Vampire Diaries will affect BBT in some way but not drastic enough since I can't remember but I don't think it had a lot of competition on Monday's.

Yeah I don't expect drastic number decreases if at all, but I'll be curious to see if Community does a lot better than people are expecting. But I do watch BBT as well.

Yeah I think Community might have done better for this week but could change the next weeks as it being the season opener. Also watch BBT but haven't seen the 3rd season yet so I went with Community and I looking forward to it more anyways.

I am all caught up on BBT discovered this show during hiatus and thought it was awesome, but my first priority goes to Community. Either way it's only a 22 minute time difference of when I watch BBT anyways.

Yeah I started watching a few weeks into it and did the same thing with BBT. But yeah this show will always come before BBT for me.

Sadly no but we do get some really good Annie scenes one of my favorite but I won't spoil that.

Awesome premiere!! I loved all the shots they took at "Shat My Dad Says" with "Old White Guy Says" and good god, Annie got hotter..............

Yeah it was funny how they were taking hits at Shat my Dad Says. Also loved the LOTR Gollum bit with Chang at the end.

Oh that was Gollum? I didn't quite know which geek reference that was, lol.

This season already seems better than last. There are no more of those awkward moments where the cast members don't really click or say something out of character because the formula was perfected last season. I love Annie's Bambie look, she does it so perfectly, and it always makes me laugh. That poor girl, oh the things I think of doing to her.............

Anybody else notice that this is the first time in a full year that this thread title is actually right?

I really hope the Jeff/Annie relationship doesn't end tonight as I liked it and hope to see more. Yeah we should really get the thread name changed

I've seen the movies, it just didn't occur to me it was Gollum for some reason I was thinking Two-Face lol.

Annie and Jeff are going to be fun to explore that story this season. It might die down for a bit but definitely not for good. The writers are very aware how many people love those two together.

OK wasn't sure. Yeah I really love Jeff and Annie together and now after seeing this episode it makes it seem like the whole Jeff/Britta thing has just died and neither care about each other that way anymore but I bet it will flare up again down the road.

The Jeff/Britta relationship was another thing they realized wasn't working that's why it toned down so much last season after the first half of episodes. They are very aware it's Jeff/Annie we all want so we will get that.
