I thought it was ok for a pilot. After Raising Hope the other night my expectations are high. I'll give it a few weeks. I think Bill can be pretty funny at times. (When you've watched him as much as I have you can call him Bill )

Fairly disappointed in the first episode. Was expecting it to be similar to the book and Twitter account (minus language of course.)

Oh good god America, just cause it's on CBS doesn't mean you must watch it.........This is ridiculous, 7 million more viewers than Community!!!

I expected that as it seems America will watch anything as long as it doesn't have a good plot, characters or good acting. I still can't believe America's love for Dancing with the stars or Jersey Shore or any other crap show.

Every time a show like this succeeds, it reaffirms my belief that Mike Judge was very very right.....and we are heading for a Brawndo loving, Carl's Jr controlled America.....

Yeah that's why I love cable they have good shows that actually get good ratings while most network shows are bad and get awesome ratings. I still like network shows like House, Bones, Fringe, BBT, Community and others but most network shows that are bad you can expect to see for a lot more years then the good one's.

I won't watch either of those, when I have nothing to watch on network the NFL channel always has a cure for what ails.

Only way this show would have worked would have been to put it on HBO/Showtime/Cinemax/Starz so they could have had the language like it's supposed to be in the book. That's why most of the stuff in the book is so funny is because of the stuff and the language he used to say it.

I liked the show, I think the son was a bit week but the show was still pretty good. But The funniest party was when the son was making fun of his dad Shatner said something like “why does everyone mimic me badly.

That was good, I forgot about that part. What's funny is the way he said it was so Shatner. I think most Trek fans are guilty of at some point doing "the Kirk" badly.

I ended up watching this over the weekend on my DVR and it wasn't as bad as I expected. I still wouldn't call it a good show, but it was no worse than Mike & Molly and was much better than Outsourced (that's not saying much though). Since I'm not recording 2 other things at that time I'll probably keep recording it and use it to waste time if I get bored.
