The movie consisted of three acts: the pledge, the turn, and the prestige. You have to view it just as that, a magic trick. Some people will get it, some won't. ![]() Thusly, it's a very clever and sophisticated movie. Sure, it has a lot of dialogue which may cause some to loose their way or turn them away. You can have your cgi action vampires and werewolves which are a dime a dozen these days. The Prestige is a rare jewel of a movie that isn't a bunch of cliches or the same ole same ole themes strung together.
