The fact that we are less than 6 months from Killzone 3 launch and there has been no talk about co op has me thinking that it'll indeed ship without it. I hope I'm wrong though.

I wish there weren't such a strong aversion to drop in coop. I would like to kill some zones with a non story affecting friend. I'd call him Tails.

I wouldnt give up hope just yet. GG listen to their fans and they will know how many fans were disapointed KZ2 didnt feature co op and also many review sites deducted review points because it

Portal 2 while awesome won't compete in the same market as Killzone. Not even Half Life. Killzone competes in the CoD market while Valve games are in the thinking mans market.

Bulletstorm is an unknown right now, and chances are it will run shitily on PS3 at least. Crysis 2 won't come anywhere near Killzone 3 in popularity terms, on a technical level, sure, but it is a proper geek game.

Gears of War was the biggest competition and now it is out of the picture. I think that gives Killzone 3 a good shot at 4-5m if they clean up some gameplay issues and add more stable online multiplayer. Less 'fix dis shit Guerrilla' would be nice too...

I don't know about co-op gameplay, but I do know we haven't had the big blowout yet and Sony have to show a lot, but they don't want to burn out like they did with KZ2.

No, they have not actually decided yet if they will seperate Move from normal controllers.

Not likely. KZ2 had no 'competition' whatsoever and I don't think it even sold more than 3 million. I don't get how a game that was supposed to be released a month and a half later is considered 'competition'. Seems to far away to be considered competition. Also, they aren't even the same genre.

Wait, did they just say that multiplayer will have matchmaking? BULLCRAP! I want to choose what server I want! I don't want the damn matchmaking server to deside for me. It at least better be an option (like unranked for choosing and ranked in matchmaking in Resistance).

I agree. This is one thing I hate about Uncharted 2. Matchmaking is lame...

Just FYI, Max is privy to information, so while you think Killzone 2 didn't sell 3 million, max knows the exact shipment amount from the publisher and sell through figures from various professional tracking sources such as NPD and Chart Track. He's in a better position to make such a guesstimate than the rest of us here.

I would really, really like to see GG drop the number of players from 32 to mabye even just 16, 20 at the most. i never play 32 players on KZ2. Its an awful frag fest with no tactics or teamwork especially playing objectives.

Yeah 8 vs 8 thats what i always play, but most people will just dive in the 32 player games and i think a lot of people decided they didnt like KZ2 MP just off playing a few 32 player matches on day 1, and they just never went back to it.
Like you say Radec Academy, 32 players = total mayhem

I'll definitely be play this game with a dual shock. I sucked at W@W on the Wii, could not get the hang of it. I know the Move is more precise than the Wii but I'm still going to do it old school

When I moved house it took about 3 months to get reconnected.

In the end had to change Internet providers. Tiscali suck
