I dropped Undercovers and Nikita as well. Sons of Anarchy, Chuck and Boardwalk Empire are my only watch live shows, everything else is DVR'd.

I can't imagine My Generation doesn't get canceled before next week. It got a pathetic 1.1/4 share last night, and fell to a 1.1/3 share in the second half hour. It lost to The Vampire Diaries in the 18-49 share, which is something that should never happen to a big 4 network show. I also have to think The Apprentice will finally end this year. It only got a 1.4/4 rating and is under 4 million viewers.

Yep.

Fringe's 1.9 didn't help my confidence at all. If it continues, It's gone by episode 8. Sadly.

Fox told Fringe fans to not worry they're not cancelling the show. We'll see if they stay true to their word. The show has the best writing on television, IMO. It would be sad if all that potential is wasted because they have it in a brutal time slot.

If Fringe does get canceled at the end of this season or next season I hope the writers know ahead of time so they can make an ending for the show. I remember reading an article that said they already know how Fringe will end it's just a matter of how many seasons they get.

I wonder why CBS comedies do so well. I mean, yeah, some of them are genuinely good, like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, and arguably Two and a Half Men, but the rest are awful—pure, hot garbage. How is it that Rules of Engagement, Mike & Molly, and $#!& My Dad Says are still on the air? How did Accidentally On Purpose last for as long as it did?

It boggles my mind how these shows can last while quality shows like The Unit got canned.

I don't know, I'd imagine it might get moved around before they cancel it. I think I remember reading that Fringe is a huge favorite of the network.

I certainly hope Fringe sticks around. Walter alone is plenty of reason to watch!

I'm still shocked that anyone is watching "Better with you" or "Outsourced". I struggled through the first ep of BWY, and could only make it through the first 15min of Outsourced. Community is WAY better than either of these, but it's being hammered in the ratings by comparison.

Well, no one really is watching BWY.

Outsourced fell a LOT this week.

Which is pretty much what I said would happen last week. I expect most of these shit shows that premiered to huge numbers to be cut in half within the month. But yeah a 20% fail was awesome!! I can only hope for another 15% next week. Bring back P-Rex!!!!

I dumped Glee last year. I'm giving The Event the three and out rule.

Never really watched VD or Chase.

Yeah I dropped it last year too, but curiosity led me to watch 5 minutes of the premiere, and that was enough again, lol.

For me:

Nikita...gone...just gave up on it after the second episode.

Undercover....would most likely will be next, seem like its just a weekly run of mill action show...

The Event....giving it a few more episode before I make up my mind.

Hm.

Im wondering if NBC will become a niche network like the CW. Few of their shows are getting over a 2.2

I can't imagine them canceling all but The Office/30 Rock either.

ABC Cancels ‘My Generation’
Quote:
After just two woefully rated episodes, rookie drama My Generation has been cancelled by ABC.

It’s ratings were terrible, and I was ready to headline the ABC Renew / Cancel post with it next week, and even wished ABC would hold off until after next Tuesday. Sadly, their timetable was not mine.

No chance for me to rewrite the song now. It certainly didn’t cause a big sensation, and Julia noted “This show’s gonna die before it gets old…”

No word yet on what will take My Generation’s Thursday 8pm timeslot.

So that's one for Fox and one for ABC, wonder who's next. What would your best guess be? Mine would be either Outlaw or The Whole Truth.
