The design is really nice. The mouse is good. A tad smaller than I would want but it works just fine. I tested one out at Best Buy to make sure it wasn't too small. It wasn't. Problem is, there aren't many blue tooth mice out there. So far, I am happy. I got it off Amazon for like $25 bucks shipped. I didn't want another stupid wireless mouse and receiver plugged in. The mini has blue tooth, why not use it? The magic mouse is HORRIBLE! I have one at work and I asked them to order me the Microsoft mouse instead.

Yes, and you can use an Apple application called Front Row to control the media on your Mini.

I have the Magic Track Pad for mine and it is awesome. If you have ever used the MacBook trackpad, it is the same just bigger.

Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to the club. I currently do not own or use a Mac Mini, but I am using a Mirrored Door Drive tower as my home server, and of course I've got the new MacBook Pro like Hammie. I'm hoping to get a Mini at some point this year to replace one or both of my Dell HTPCs. Now that they have HDMI, it makes them pretty much the perfect machine for an HTPC. If only Apple and Netflix allowed HD streaming over a computer.

If could parade-rain a little bit...I really don't understand why they haven't moved to the i3/i5/i7 processors yet and are still going with Core 2 Duo. Even a mobile i3/i5/i7 would be good. I'm sure we'll be seeing that soon, though. I just kind of think it's time for it. I mean: why not?

Anyway, enjoy! I'm sure you'll love it.

Apple is slow to adopt new tech. Not sure why they are like that. The mini I can see why they are still using a core 2 duo. It can be onboard, produces little heat and draws little power. The i3/5/7's are power hungry CPU's and I am not sure they can be made to fit in the confines of the Mini's form factor - number one issue. It would probably over heat.

That's why I was thinking going with a mobile version at fist, then kicking up a notch once they figure out how to make it so isn't as power-hungry and heat-producing. The mobile versions still kick serious butt and obviously do not have those attributes (as much as their desktop counterparts, that is).

I don't want to steal your thunder, though. I'm happy you're part of "us" now. (although honestly I'm a total crossy)

Lol, you're fine.

Thanks. I am loving it so far. Some things I am not sure how to do yet but thats part of the learning process.

I just do whatever and if I get stuck or break something, brettallica is a whiz, IMO. I'll come seek him out and get his guidance.

There is a Mac thread somewhere. You could post any questions there or within your thread. Someone will answer it. There are a few MacHeads on the site.
