Can't wait to see the lush reds in this movie. It's cinematography will hopefully lend itself to being elogant, beautiful demo material. Hope they get the transfer right.

I would like The Village on BD as well. There are quite a few M. Night Shlaymalang movies out already on blu-ray. We need this to come out on BD.

I loved the Village! I already own it on DVD but would definitely buy it if it were released on Blu Ray.

The Happening is easily his worse film to date and I feel that Signs followed closely by The Sixth Sense are his best films.

100% agree with everything you just said.

I'd go a little further with The Happening though... I'd consider it one of the worst films of all time.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. I am skeptical about The Last Airbender, but I'll at least give the guy another chance and rent it.

Same here. I didn't mind the twist at all at the end. It was a pretty good movie.

I saw The Village for the first time recently and I have to say, I thought it was really good. It's a misunderstood film because of the marketing. The cinematography was good, the acting was good (especially by the beautiful Bryce Dallas Howard), and the score was fantastic. One of my favorite soundtracks of any film. I think it's M. Night's third best film behind Unbreakable and Signs. I really hope it gets a blu-ray release.

I have been looking every few days for some kind of information on a BD release of The Village and there's absolutely nothing in the works from what I have seen. In other news, I have actually been holding onto my Lady in the Water HD DVD because it has DD+ audio while the BD has regular DD.
