I would like to get this one but for $91, I'm going to have to think about it real hard lol. Great looking steel though! I hope other countries get this, but I'm not counting on it as the last Avatar steel was only released in the UK.

Beautiful, but unless some other store has it, I´ll have to pass.
Amazon.jp only ships via Fedex, and then I have to pay a huge import tax (60% over product + shipping). Damn government!

James Cameron already raped my bank account once with the UK Avatar steelbook. It's not happening again. Nice artwork though.

This one is limited to only 1000 copies, that why it´s so expensive.

For anyone ordering this, I recommend ordering this with at least 1 other title.

I just received a BD yesterday from Amazon.jp, and it was just in one of those envelope mailers. It arrived fine, but then again it wasn't a steel. The order I received the day before (2 BDs) arrived in a box.

But that depends on where in Japan your order is shipping from as Amazon jp has more than 1 warehouse. I went thru this before with Amazon jp and that's the reason they gave for not shipping all items at once in one box.

Crossing my fingers for a UK steelbook.

You figure the 3D version will also have a steelbook?

If memory serves I think the 3D version is only being released as an exclusive package with a Panasonic 3D TV....!!

I pre-ordered mine, but if a cheaper one comes along, then I will cancel this one.

No doubt. I didn't order the original one so I can justify buying this ultimate steelbook version of this movie

This is tempting. I ordered a few Blus from Japan cause a friend of mine went for a visit. I sent my order to her relatives house as it's free shipping locally from AMZ.jp, so I saved a little and had her bring my Blus w/ her.

I might order this again that way and have her family send to me, I think that will save on shipping some.
