I really thought this thread was going to be about a "Holy Grail" remote that come with the BD release of the MP movie. You know, to make fun of the Trekkies.

Pretty cool, but I prefer a harmony remote. I'll stick with my 880 til they come out with a bluetooth capable one eventually.

Default It looks nice but . . .

It's just too bad that it runs Windows Vista on it.

Looks cool, but seems to be made for Windows Vista. But with the $274 price tag I'll give it a try!!

Cough.

reading through it a few times, not sure if the remote is blue tooth , or the cradle. Regardless, someone needs to come out with a bluetooth/ir/rf remote asap

I'm pretty sure it has Bluetooth. If you'll notice, there is a big bluetooth logo in the upper left corner of the remote. Also, I'm thinking that you can still use it without vista, just that the sideshow and gadgets things wont be available, but I could be wrong there. I hope it doesn't require vista because I took that piece of crap off my machine months ago.

I've seen the Harmony remotes at CC. Which is good enough to control everything, even the PS3?

Well, I use the 880 but none can control the ps3 right now since it uses bluetooth and not infra red. I'm sure harmony will come out with one w/ bluetooth soon though.

Yeah, something with ergonomic button placement that you can actually pour holy water into.

I use a harmony/logitech 880 as well, but control the PS3 with the sixaxis.

What a funny idea. Maybe you should try to email it to the Pythons.

Well just bought a new printer. It’s Vista compatible, but removing the drivers, ports etc. for the old printer can not be done resulting in my new printer not working. Hopefully Steve Balmer isn’t here or else he would be danglin’ from my window on the 2nd floor until he would promise to help me (figure of speech). It sucks so big time. Yeah the bling bling is Wow but the rest is crap.

I can’t keep thinking that Vista is for XP what Me was for 98. It’s totally C R A P.

Because it
1. is NOT backward compatible ( crap even old MS software had a lot of Vista issues )
2. forces people to buy new high-end hardware and buy new software
3. is slow (unless you do step 2 )
4. lots of security pop-ups (cmon do you want your mom nagging at you all day?)
5. is a Apple wannabee
6. is M$

and lastly because this is a blu-ray dot com site

Cheers -- welcome to the forum

vistas nice, kinda laggy on my cousins laptop though (which doesnt make sense why HP would put vista on a laptop that will lag)

i was expecting the remote to cost a fortune, im glad to see that price guess it'll be my dads Christmas present
