The endings have been good, but this weeks was obvious for that reason alone.

Also, nothing else is on at 9 now.

Raising Hope has been given a full season renewal.

http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/10/06...r-by-fox/66977

Nearly all the shows saw their ratings drop last night. No Ordinary Family saw a 20% drop from it's premiere with a 2.6/8. Detroit 1-8-7 has got to be near cancellation with a 1.8/5 rating.

It's not a renewal. It's a pick up. MASSIVE difference.

Yes, I worded it incorrectly.

As much as I like Arnett that show is just painfully unfunny.

Yeah I expected a lot more from Arnett, Russell and Hurwitz.

I watch 1-8-7 but more as filler than anything else, it's nothing original or exciting. As far as network tv goes the only shows I would be angry over a cancellation of would be:

Chuck
Community
Fringe
Supernatural
Parenthood

I'm very surprised that 3 of my 5 shows are on NBC.....Cable dominates the rest of my schedule.

The Gates and Scoundrels Canceled by ABC
Quote:
Multiple sources are reporting the Gates and Scoundrels have been canceled by ABC. No official announcement has been made yet though. The Gates star Frank Grillo semi-confirmed the rumors tweeting "I'm told from a friend at ABC that The Gates are closing. No season 2 "

Ya know, it's summer. If the shows are pulling over 1's in the summer, they should be fine. The networks just don't get summer.

Kinda sad to see the low numbers for Detroit 187. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's a good solid police procedural.

The Whole Truth, however, can not get canceled soon enough. It's a great premise but the writing is horrible. Eammon Walker just can't catch a break.

Outlaw is all but dead. NBC has suspended production at 8 episodes, which 3 have aired. They could go back into production if the last two eps do well, but come on it ain't happening. Courtesy of Herc at AICN.

I really hope The Gates isn't canceled. Was the only show I followed this summer. There are so few good shows that have mythological creatures (Supernatural being one of the best). This one was even different by having them live in a somewhat normal society. Who knows what other creatures they could bring in for Season 2+. Then again I guess the masses are just now getting on the Vampire bandwagon and aren't ready to accept anything else.
