I was a baby back when all of this took place. My faintest memory recollects the big news that was Gulshan Kumar's death while he prayed.

i have heard from my dad that in gulshan kumar's early years he used to make pirated audio cassettes and sold them at much cheaper prices and slowly he rised and rised to become te owner of india's biggest music company Trishul-SERIES(T-Series) but the man was respected in his later years for his honesty and was known to be a great worshipper of maa vaishno devi (my recent trip at vaishno devi about 4-5 days ago there there were many t series shops with aarties from gulshan kumar) but gulshan kumar wanted to revolutionise the music industry by selling the audio cassettes and cds at much lower prices as were then.......but his brothers didnt followed his legacy after his death.........thats all he told me about him....!!
