Alliance Titles 9/28/2010: Hoodwinked, This Movie Is Broken; Discs From Other Studios

Another small batch of blu-rays from Canada coming out on Sept. 28th:

-Hoodwinked (Alliance)
-This Movie Is Broken (Alliance)

And a couple of releases are coming out the same day from other Canadian studios:

-Journal D'Aurelie Laflamme (TVA)
-Perrier's Bounty (Paradox/E1)

Alliance also has another barebones double feature disc out that day too:

-17 Again/Hairspray (Alliance)

Was hoping Hoodwinked would get a blu release. Hopefully it's decent as that will mean bye bye DVD version

FYI: Canada is finally getting the newer editions of No Country for Old Men(new extras) and Gangs of New York(Remastered) and are also Steelbooks!

What...could you please elaborate. Are these going to be a retailer exclusive or sold everywhere.

I highly doubt the steelbooks will be exclusive to HMV, should be @ all stores as such in Canada. Time will tell for sure though.

Sorry for the bump, with the US release being confirmed as 1080i I was curious if the Canadian release was as well.

I do believe that the CDN disc is 1080i. Given this case, and also the US disc for The Tournament (which was once a CDN exclusive at one time), it looks like Vivendi may just be getting help from Alliance with their discs.
