That's all assuming that the combo players are actually successful. Even with a combo players out there you will still see people buying much more blu-ray movies than HD-DVD.

In the end HD-DVD will still fail. I believe that even with combo players you will still see Universal switch to blu-ray because blu-ray will become the norm.

I don't believe that the combo players will succeed. Even if it does it will become a niche product much like the DVD/VHS combo players.
