Borders has the following coupon that's good from the 12th to the 14th:50% off any single or double disc Blu-ray. I plan to either get Charade or Breathless in the next day or so. But which one to choose?

I've never seen this film. (Many say I will not like the film much) But I was wondering should I watch the short film included first. It seems to be mentioned as a prelude to the film. Or should I watch it after the film?

Watch it before the film, PP. The storyline in the short involves Jason Schwartzman's character in the main film and his girlfriend, and the topic of him and his girlfriend is referenced throughout the main film.

It's my favorite of Anderson's films, if that matters much.

I am sure I will like it. I just got it delivered today. I meant to order Magician but the amazon price was at 36.99 and I figured I would get it cheaper at Barnes w/ coupon... and they were supposed to get a BLU in reserved for me and they didn't.

Not sure if I will use prime to get it for tomorrow yet or not. haha it is at 34.99 now.

Bumped "The Magician" to the top of my NetFlix queue...maybe get it for the weekend?

Wes Anderson is a fave of my wife (she LOVES The Royal Tennenbaums) and we both rented and watched Darjeeling, so it's a no brainer with the B & N coups for this week.

I've NEVER seen The Magician...so I'll rent and decide. I can always get it in November...I want to pick up Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence at some point anyway.

Too damned much I want and I just spent $7000.00 on a roof.

Looks like a few B&N employees are posting November 1st as the B&N sale date and ends right before the release of "The Night of the Hunter" and Modern Times".

That kills a really nice sale price on America Lost and Found Box Set for sure. Ouch.

That best not be true. The 16th is my birthday, and I've been way to loyal to B&N for them to ruin it.

Looks like Criterion Collection will be releasing Hirokazu Koreeda's "Still Walking"

That would be unfortunate for sure....... I'm just hoping for an Amazon price-drop between now and then.

I will use this 50% coupon on something else then a Criterion, with the B&N sale coming up I can just hold off on all the CC titles I want

Im leaning towards The Exorcist, Maltese Falcon, King Kong, but then again I still have not picked up How the West Was Won either....to many options

Thanks for the link Rezpekt, I was familiar with the IFC deal but didn't know this film was part of that.

If the sale really starts on the first, it will be just a few days after the release of House/Hausu. I have the MoC DVD, so it's not a huge priority, but I'll snag it if I can get it for $20. The cover art for Criterion's version is great.

Whether the sale starts on 11/16 or 11/1...the sales "usually" run 3 weeks. I hope this is the case here as well...At least we could get the Chaplin and those other prior to 11/16.

I've already seen the box set in the $80'ish dollar range. That's barely $10 per film. And around black Friday I'll bet someone will have it for less.
