Does anyone else remember the old days of the SNES vs Genesis? These systems were rated solely on their software because they are game consoles. These were the times when if you turned on a system without a game in it it did nothing. How about we take that stance with the new systems. Forget about blu-ray movies for a minute, forget all the media features and internet borwser. Just focusing on the PS3 as a game console how would you rate it? Discuss how blu-ray helps with gaming. Discuss how having wifi is bether than an ethernet port. Forget about add on HD-DVD drives for the 360 since they don't pertain to gaming. Forget about Rrod and failure rates. I wanna hear some people support their console of choice based on what matters the most.....games. Who will humor me on this? Come on guys....step up. I wanna hear why the console you chose is best for games.

I myself have all 3 consoles and they all have their strenths and weaknesses. If I were to rate them soley on the software available I would say:

First Year:
PS3 = C- (first year, I'm sorry but until the end of this year there really wasn't much worth owning except Heavenly Sword and Resistance)
Wii = D (Just Zelda, Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime, Not enough for me. Wii Sports is not as fun as everyone makes it out to be)
360 = B- (launch titles sucked except for COD2, had a great end of year though)

P.S. I am not trying to start a flame war, I just want some open discussion.
