I just returned my PotC3 and got another at Target, another broken case! GRRRR!

Who give a flying *F* about the HD-DUD gang.....it's a simple typo...the disc is 1080p......should have been caught by the editors....but oh well......

Just picked mine up from BB. Says "i" also, but I believe in typos. BTW...I price matched with Target for 23.95 and a had a $5 off coupon. Got mine for roughly $20.

I noticed that the 1080i misprint is on the outer cardboard box. Has anyone seen on the actual case itself if it says 1080i as well?

i just purchased it at a bestbuy in miami and the back of my case says 1080i but the picutre looks good anyways no complaint.

Man you know Disney has got to be Pi$$ed off at the guy who made this typo.

We have several people confirming it is indeed a typo as the video status on people's screens read "1080p". Where as a true 1080i movie will read "1080i".

And they got it wrong in the UK as well, says 1080p HD/16:9/1.85:1

It should be 2.35:1 shouldn't it?

I just recieved it from amazon called disney @ the 1-800 # printed on the disc
and they apoliged about the misprint and of corse confirmed that it was indeed

A MISPRINT!!! IMHO they should issue a press statement about the error
and put out stickers to attach to the packaging of the mis printed boxes
confirming 1080p.

I agree totally. Stickers on cases and a press release would really help.

I think Disney did this just to give the DUD'ers something to talk about. You know they've gotta have something to talk about since they don't have any real releases on the way. Maybe this will just get some more publicity for the format & people will start to understand what it's all about.
