Just watched Aliens. It's like a remake, you know what happens but everything you see seems new. There's so much stuff that I hadn't noticed before and the colours look brilliant. Can't wait to see what he does to The Abyss.

Yes it's real, there are pics of it here somewhere, couldn't find it. Considered getting that one, but haven't decided yet.

So... can we confirm with 100% certainty that the UK edition is in fact identical to the US discs and will play in REGION A with no problems? Any issues with SD features being in PAL or any other problems to report? I'm thinking of biting at that price instead of buying the US discs.

Search in the US thread for several confirmations.

100% identical, only difference is the packaging (fold out instead of Digibook style) and the price of course.

Does anyone think Play will still be selling the LE Egg version in January?

I ask as I'd love to get it early in the new year, I originally had it pre-ordered but cancelled due to simply not really being able to afford it this side of Christmas.

I hope its not too 'limited'

It's limited to 5000 apparently, it's not individually number like the rest of Sideshow's limited pieces so whether that's 5000 within the uk, or worldwide.

If it is 5000 in the uk then it's hardly limited to be honest.

I think it's 5,000 in the UK yes.
You also got France, Netherlands, US, Germany etc.

That 'New Moon: Memory Box' was also limited to 5,000 and now, not only is it still there, it's gone down more than half of the price!

HMV's also put the egg back up with £10 cheaper than Play.

The egg itself is pretty good quality! It's sturdy! And it looks awesome when it's dark and you light it.

Overall I am really happy with the Egg. Can't wait to check out the movies.
