Why spend $900 now and $1200 later when you can spend $1500 now and get a TV that will last that much longer before you want to upgrade again? 3 TVs over the span of 10 years will most likely cost you more than 1 TV that will last you 10 years. I am a firm believer in futureproofing. Think long term, not short term and I think that you will be surprised at what conclusion you will come up with.
