Best Werewolf Movies on Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Okay, so Werewolves have been my favorite movie monster for a long time, second are zombies/infected...anyway, I got The Wolfman for $13 last week and while watching it I kept trying to think of other great Werewolf movies (besides the Underworld Trilogy) that would look good on Blu, or that are just available for a good price period.

I'll start off by saying that I've seen, besides the four movies I mentioned above (The Wolfman and Underworld Trilogy) An American Werewolf In London. I was considering Cursed, and the cheapest I can find it is $13 on eBay. So what are some other great Werewolf movies that will look good on Blu?

An American Werewolf in London and A Company of Wolves are the best werewolf films currently on Blu-ray. I wish The Howling would hit Blu region free or Region A.

Yeah, this is the clear winner right now and it will put up a good fight even when Universal releases their classic horror library.

As for other recommendations, Wolf is kind of interesting if you're willing to meet it (maybe more than) halfway. It's not a good movie by any stretch. The acting (surprisingly enough) is pretty flat and the effects/transformations are even worse but even at that it's a pretty interesting take on the werewolf legends.

FYI everyone, I said that I've already watched An American Werewolf In London, but a bunch of you have still recommended it. I'm looking for something new, or old but good. Thanks.

If you want something other than AWIL than I would have to say either Dog Soldiers of the new Wolfman remake (I know, don't chastise me.

) Honestly, there aren't that many werewolf movies available on Blu.

Van Helsing is a good werewolf movie I think, the new Wolfman isn't that bad either.

Stephanie Meyer's version aren't werewolves though so that's not a very helpful suggestion.
