Sounds like what you bought is not shipped from amazon but a third party retailer. Check the item there again, I bet it says it ships from another company.

Happened to me once or twice.

Send the link of the item you bought. It's likely not sent from amazon in this case.

When i choose expedited shipping to Canada, I was told by Amazon that it was being shipped by DHL (although I never got a DHL tracking number and my Blu-ray's never showed up)...

I'm in the US and they used DHL for my most recent order, first time I saw them do that. Got here quick enough, that's for sure.

Sorry in advance. I know this does not answer the question to the thread but I also have another question for Canadians. How much is shipping to Canada from Amazon.com? I know we all will have difference costs but anyone know how much is comes out to for you? Also how long does it usually take for you guys to recieve it?

By the way, I am in Edmonton.

Thanks

I know this has nothing to do with me since I am in the US, but I can't stand DHL, is it that much better of a shipping service in Canada?

That only happens if you use Expediated shipping. Check to see if this is the case. Any time you order from Amazon.com use standard shipping. And yes DHL is sent from their warehouse to the Canadian warhouse and then sent to your residence (this is for standard shipping and you will never get customs, at least I dont and Ive recieved over 60+ parcels from them)

i've made several orders from amazon.com. standard shipping charges are $7.98 for the first BD and $2.99 for each additional BD within the same shipment. i believe expediated shipping is $2 more.
so obviously if you buy a single BD at a time there's really no advantage, but if you order a few at a time then you'll start saving money. also don't forget there's no GST!

whatever amazon states as estimated delvery dates, you can usually expect it sooner.

edit: another bonus is the packaging isn't cluttered with french. (nothing against french, but i don't speak it so i don't care to have my cases 1/2 full of it)

I dont know what you are smoking...You cant get shipping for less than 10$ with three blus anymore.

Two blus cost $10.97 now, before (summer) it cost $7.97 for two blus, and for three blus it was $9.96 now its $13.96.

They now instituted a new plan where if you order more blus you save more money.

Not for me, its still 10.97 for 2 blus and 13.96 for 3 blus, 16.95 for 4 blus and yes I buy something every week.

I havent updated my signature yet, but I am over 110 blus.
