A reliable source on this site told me The Bi-Polar Express was a direct port of a 15GB HD DVD. First, I am pissed I spent my money on it. Secondly, I'm appauled to think Toshiba was pushing THAT as the next generation HD media! 12 gbit average playback is right. DVD is 10 Gbit at best, and averages 8 gbit on a good disc. How do you give only a 25% boost in bit rate when the picture is 6 times as dense? Both formats are compressed so c'mon! Last edited by tron3; 12-07-2007 at 03:15 PM. |
