UCF freshman starting QB Jeffrey Godfrey might be the best QB we've had since Daunte Culpepper in the 90's.
He's a freshman from the Miami area, good looking kid. I'd love to see Central Florida rise to the upper tier of college football, I think you have the right coach to take you there. There's plenty of room in Florida for another big boy.

Wow Oklahoma hasn't scored a point at halftime. Texas A&M leads 12-0. TCU and Boise may be lucking out today even more than I thought they would.

It's 19-17 now, and Oklahoma has all the momentum. A real shame, I was pulling for the Texas A&M.

South Carolina is getting destroyed by Arkansas. Can't believe Florida is going to basically win the SEC East by default. They'll probably lose big in the SEC title game though. I can't remember the SEC divisions ever being this unbalanced. The West probably has 4 teams better than the best team in the East.

Yeah, you have to feel a bit bad for Urban Meyer. He's doing probably his best coaching and scheming since he has been at Florida and that won't mean squat in the SEC title game. They are going to get soundly defeated.

Maybe not. A&M is out to a 33-17 lead now with 7 min left! Looks like they will pull this one off.

Yay... Oklahoma lost. My best guess for the new BCS rankings:

1. Oregon - Another week, another blowout win. I'm starting to think they will run the table without too much trouble. They only have California, Arizona and Oregon St. left.
2. Auburn - Their championship hopes are going to come down to winning in Tuscaloosa.
3. TCU - They might gain a little ground on Auburn and Oregon thanks to their surprising beatdown of Utah. They still need one of the two to lose in order to make the national title game though.
4. Boise St. - They keep taking care of business but it's growing increasingly likely that TCU will finish above them regardless. They must have Oregon and Auburn both lose a game to have a shot at the title game.
5. LSU - With their win over Alabama my guess is they jump in the rankings and become the highest ranked 1-loss team left. They still need a LOT of help to reach a BCS title game
6. Nebraska - Extemely mediocre win over Iowa St. in OT. They probably still move up a little due to other teams losing.
7. Wisconsin
8. Ohio St.
9. Stanford
10. Michigan St.

If I had to make a guess I'd say Oregon vs. TCU is the most likely title game followed by Oregon vs. Auburn.

42-7 for BSU over fellow WAC team Hawaii and honestly it should've been a lot worse, BSU left at least 14 points on the field in the first half.

I'd say 5 of the 6 west teams are better than the 6 east teams

Mississippi St even won in the swamp earlier in the season

impressive win for the Hogs

Yes! UCF is ranked for the first time in school history. 25th in the AP poll, 23rd in the Coach's poll. Wasn't expecting that just yet.

You just beat me to it. Didn't think they would be unless they won another game or two. In the Coach's poll we're now the highest ranked team in the state of Florida.

New BCS Rankings. It appears that the top 5 teams are the only ones with a reasonable chance at making the title game.

1. Oregon .9638
2. Auburn .9611
3. TCU .9259
4. Boise St. .8662 - Boise is pretty much screwed unless both Oregon and Auburn lose a game.
5. LSU .8170 - If Oregon and Auburn both drop a game it's possible they could jump Boise and land in the title game.
6. Stanford .7454
7. Wisconsin .7359
8. Nebraska .7298
9. Ohio St. .6613
10. Oklahoma St. .6211

And at the Big House no less. I've been to a lot of football games but never been in a crowd larger than about 75,000. Michigan seats 111,000.

Friend of mine got the tickets on Thursday night so we took the approximately 5 hour drive on Saturday morning (around 4am), wandered the town with beers in hand (we had no idea what was acceptable but risked it haha) before the game and enjoyed ourselves. Very fun time, on the drive home my friend was looking up online to see the largest stadiums and apparently it's third in the world!

lol Dang Cam Newton caught cheating at Florida

CFB:L said he also had a stolen laptop while at UF... When UF is about to get rid of you for cheating then you know you have issues

Beast football player, doesn't seem like a kid with any character.

He does seem to have character problems. But I believe that stolen laptop has been public knowledge for a long time. And the possible cheating on tests at UF probably cannot result in any discipline since he doesn't go there any more. What is a problem is the allegations that he took money to play for Auburn. That could completely destroy his college career and his team's undefeated season.

Even if Newton is 100% innocent of these allegations it could cost him the Heisman since many voters don't want a Reggie Bush repeat. I also heard a clip from his dad on the radio today and basically his dad said he cannot confirm or deny that his son cheated at UF. Not exactly a rousing defense.
