I know for a fact that there are people with as many, if not more, titles but you'll never see them posting online. Some 'individuals' get all their discs shipped straight from the source.

I am amazed at the big collections people have. I would love to have that many. I hope by maybe the end of 2012 i could be around 1,000.

I am on the same track. I currently own around 550 with a little over 200 in my price tracker. I'll probably add 20 during Black Friday.

i've piled on some of my collectible packaging on top of rack 1. Some notables include t2 skull, best buy exclusive figurine collection, and limited seo tae-ji concert blu-ray set.

notables on top of rack 2 include wizard of oz ultimate and gone with the wind ultimate collections.

my steelbooks.

my extra steelbooks. These are the only shelves with duplicate steelbooks (they don't count in my total tally.) i'm quickly running out of space.
I love seeing pics of large collections, your collection would look more awesome if you can somehow join the two shelves together

To the 1000+ people, how many BD's a week do you think you are buying on average?

How big do you see your collections being in 2 years time?

What are your plans for storage?

It'll be nice to see if I can have a source that won't charge me $20 per blu. I'm only 330+ blus so far. and I am barely buying now cuz I can't afford it anymore lolz.

I rarely pay over 10.00 at amazon.com and deepdiscount. You just have to be patient and not buy them on day 1.

Anybody that has over 2,000:

My buying comes in spurts. One week I will buy almost a half a dozen Blu, then I will buy only 3 or 4 in 3 months. It all depends on what comes out that I like.

Don't forget sales and super cheap BDs too! I plan to buy a few tomorrow that will be $6-8 each, new/sealed.

count me in on 1K collection .... although it has been slow in the past few months (except the last 2 weeks). I am more selective now since that new BD now on 20+ weekly basis compare only less than 10 weekly a year ago....

The site changed the way BDs are tracked now. An example would be Double Features such as Bloodsport/Timecop count as two movies yet are one disc and one BD.
Hey I dont think then this is the case here, because I think I might have 2 - 3 double feature movies on one disc at max. But yeah I have many box sets.
So the point is that the 953 count is according to the old way of counting. In case you will be looking at the old way of counting then something like Batman Anthology was counted as one while it contains 4 BDs but now it is counted as 4 with the new count . I have many other box sets.

Which way of counting gives you an approximate figure that is close to the real count?? The new way of course. Because the old count reduces even a box set of 5 or 6 BDs to one!!
