I love playing first person shooters on the 360 controller. The way it sits in your hand while your finger is on both triggers is great. I think the curve with the LT and RT triggers really sets it off...which is why I bought this for the PS3 controller.

It makes a huge difference, I switch the COD default so to shoot is R2 instead of R1, my gameplay has def. improved after this.

The closest one I've seen in design to the 360 controller is the

Pro Elite PS3 Wireless Controller
- Dual uneven analog sticks like the Xbox controller
- SixAxis support
- Rumble support
- Wireless
- Charges just like a standard SixAxis or Dual Shock 3

I have never used one so I don't know how good/bad the build quality is on it, but in terms of layout, this is as close as you can get.

i HATE the curved triggers on the 360.
plus with the R1/R2 to L1/L2 being so far away on the 360 controller......god forbid you have to push R1 & R2 or L1 & L2 at the same time on a 360 controller lol
you actually have to then use the 'triggers' on the 360 (L2/R2) and move your middle finger to them and use your pointer finger to get to R1/L1

someone needs to put some 'shoulder buttons' where your middle finger/ring finger lay underneath the controller.

plus bring back the VMU (dreamcast).

after all of this is said.....ps3 controller > 360 controller in every imaginable way

in general I like the 360 controller, but the d-pad is horrible and it stinks for fighting games

Anyone know where there is a controller modding service to add buttons to the inside of the handle? A few years ago I bought a controller and service to add extra buttons to the inside of the right handle that'd controll the A B and X buttons on my 360 controller. I looked on Ebay and googled it,but can't seem to find a service that'll add extra buttons for you onto the controller. Not turbo firembut just extra buttons. Anyone know where I can get this done from? I looked on Ebay again, but no luck. Nobody is offering that type of service.

I don't know where to order this service but I did remember seeing this article some time ago. If you can't do this then maybe you know someone that could perform this?

Extra buttons.

If you are significantly more adept at electronics modding than I am, then you can make exactly what you are looking for. Click here for the walkthrough.
