Nope just one of them. Unless your cashier is willing to accept 25% for one item AND $5 off the entire purchase of $50 or more.

Or better yet just use the 25% on 4 separate transactions as there are 4 unique 25% off coupons it appears.

They claim that the free express shipping is the equivalent of the 10% off.

But that is fine and all except for the fact that the Criterion I want is not offered either online or at their stores :\

well, I used the link Beta posted and did get free shipping PLUS the 10% off.. but I kept having to re-log in because the site kept cancelling the free shipping after each order I placed. But it worked out in the end ...

That is a truly inspired idea. We'd better order now while they're still over .500

Wht's the best way to get Kurosawa?

I've got Ikiru (DVD) and Kagemusha(BD) so would the best option to get the AK 100 box and get the BDs of the ones out?

Also Is the AK 100 box have everything the separate releases?

If you buy the AK 100 set, you lose pretty much all of the supplemental material from the individual releases.... It's a toss up really.... either buy all the Blu-rays, and the "early Kurosawa" set, and wait for the rest to hopefully find their way to BD eventually...... or get the AK-100 and not get too upset if you double dip a little on the way.

I'm offering 100% off everything I don't have...... while supplies last

That's a lot of viewing to catch up on! Did you put the Blu-ray of "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" in your queue, when it comes out.... or is that a streaming/DVD ? Reason I ask.... is because it looks like you have plenty to watch in the meantime if you decide to wait.

Did Criterion release more horror on DVD that haven't been put on BD?
Don't forget "Onibaba".

Nice try, Beta Man, but I think you're confusing the Bears with the Lions!

Heck, I'm originally from Colorado, so I am fairly certain that he must have been thinking of this year's Broncos.

I have a question for your Criterion nuts:

-how has the CC managed to get away with only offering English audio/subtitles? (I mean only English audio for English films, and only English subtitles for non-English films)

I'm not complaining at all! But how have they managed to dodge criticism for not offering more languages?

I have no answer--but a similar question. Why does Criterion offer full English subtitles for English language releases... and full English subtitles for foreign language releases... but for releases where dialog is in both English and some other language (example: Mystery Train... and I'm pretty sure I've seen it a few other times, too) they only offer subtitles for the foreign language, not for the English dialog. Seems to me this would be an easy thing to provide, while being endearing for those hard-of-hearing, or those (like me) who have to keep things quiet because of roommates...

yeah I think you're right...Monsoon Wedding is another one. I think it was only English subtitles for the non-English dialog.

First while I believe Criterion isn't Rosetta Stone, they are a business. A business that on their site simply shows:

Quote:
We do not subtitle in other languages because in almost all cases we only have the rights to publish our releases in the original language and/or an English version.
There you have it.
