It comes in a very solid, sturdy slipbox. The two discs are housed in a nice digipak. There is also a 16 page booklet and a faux-autographed film cell. Best $14.99 I've ever spent!

You DID notice they have a small difference at the top ?

Just FYI: The Peanuts set that came out today has either a slipcover or box inside the packaging.

Nice Wonka, can't wait to get mine then. It's sitting at my Grandmothers house so maybe I'll have it by Thurs. And I agree best $14.99 I've spent also.

Here's my haul for this week, minus the two dozen Criterion titles I also purchased.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Ghost Rider was shipped seperately for some reason and has not arrived.

The other 3D titles were at Best Buy but I refuse to pay $35 for damaged slips. Ordering Clash of the Titans 3D, Kitty Galore 3D, and the IMAX 3D titles from Amazon when I get a chance.

I was out and about today and saw some slips I haven't seen in the wild before/in a long time! Can some of ya'll take a minute lemme know which a re pretty rare and I may want to go and grab, and which aren't too exciting? I would really appreciate it!

We're looking at: Inglorious Basterds, Couples Retreat, Hellboy 2, Leap Year, Public Enemies, The Fourth Kind, 2/4 Fast and Furious movies, Funny People, Four Christmases, and Daybreakers.

Thanks again for any help!

I still see the red cover I. Basters, Couples Retreat, Leap Year, Public Enemies, Funny People. Daybreakers slips in most of the stores in my area. The other are becoming harder to find here.

BTW, there was also a $29.99 national geographic slipcover release today. This week was like slipcover heaven.

Both the top where it say blu-ray essentials and the bottom where is says best of blur-ray and the blu-ray logo is embossed.

Also the border around the picture of movie cover is embossed. Pretty shiny slip.

They're a lot nicer than I thought they would be.

same here. I was expecting plane slips. The embossing looks nice. Plus the background is shiny and nice.

Will have to get black hawk down and the fifth element for sure.

Can somebody post pics of the Spiderman 1 & 2 spines please? I'm not sold on the BD essential slips just yet but maybe the spines might change my mind. I gotta have slips for all 3 not just Spiderman 3

I can do that for you a little later when I get a chance.

Does anyone want to tackle exactly what 3D IMAX titles came out today with slips? I know I saw three different ones in Best Buy.

Austin Powers individual releases do in fact have nice shiny slipcovers in Canada! And here are some basic in-store cellphone pics(I didn't buy):

goldememberbluslip.JPG

Again, like the LOTR trilogy individuals, one spine per language (1 Eng, 1 French). The back covers are French as well, so all extras/specs are advertised underneath the unshrinkwrapped slipcovers. You can thank Alliance for these.

I kinda find them ugly myself, yes. The slip literally has a pic of the blu-ray case you're buying underneath it, just odd.
