im surprised Posey got so many more first place Votes than Heyward did.. 20 of 32 total.. I thought it would be alot closer...

I'm surprised at that too. I believe ballots are due before the playoffs start so they couldn't be biased by postseason play.

Haha, whenever I type spoilers, I always have to slow down my typing, because it's a word I frequently misspell (not that I don't know how to spell it, it's just the fingering of of it on a keyboard that's weird to me). Anyway, consider yourself lucky. I will not lose again.

Anyone else kind of bored with sports right now? College basketball seems too early to give a crap about yet (lots of warm-up games against scrub schools), NFL is in it's middle-stage which I always find boring (it'll pick up again in a month or so), and I never watch regular season NHL or NBA stuff, so I'm up to a lot of nothing, other than an occasional NCAAFB game.

Well I'm shocked. The Dodgers re-signed Kuroda for a 1 yr 12 million contract. Didn't think they would spend the money after the Lilly deal. Come on Dodgers shock me again by signing a decent power hitting position player now!!

And reliever Mike Dunn apparently. Now the question is do the Braves give Uggla that big extension he is looking for. He's probably looking for Chase Utley type of money, 80 million plus.

Well I wish Chipper would just retire. Unforunately he's planning on trying to return from injury in 2011. Can't blame him really since he's guaranteed $13 mill next year. Not sure if Braves ownership will be willing to make anymore large dollar long-term deals. Hopefully they are.

It's more like a raping of the Marlins. I don't know what they were thinking. Uggla is one of the best offensive 2B in the game and they gave him away for next to nothing.

Marlins are always in the bottom 5 in payroll. Not really surprising. And I'll bet they still finish around .500 next year. It seems like they always find a way to dump payroll and still stay competitive through player development.
