Interesting. Javo got his today and it wasn't cheaper and they are still the same price online ($39.98/$69.98) that they've been listed at for some time. Might have to call in tomorrow then to check it out.

It did come through right at the end of the day, so stores may have missed it or not had time to do it.

Considering I bought mine at 5:25, it might go down in the morning.

Thanks for the heads up then and I shall be checking it out! If it's at my store for that price (and occasionally they have a habit of not changing the price) then I am getting it.

I've confirmed the price drop with my local store - $47.98 for the tin version. Sold! Heading out to pick one up!

Question does this have the standard blu-ray case like the standard blu-ray of the CE does?

Went into sanity (since they open everything) and looked at the standard blu-ray and was disappointed to find a blu-ray case inside instead of the nice booklet USA is getting.

Very disappointing. It's very similar to the Alien Quadrilogy. Beautiful from the USA, ugly ass thing with plastic holders inside for Australia.

Yes, it has a standard one-time case inside a slip with an O-ring slipcover over it. Pics should be along in about 15 mins once finished editing.

Is it possible only JB-HiFi's 'ultimate' edition has cheaped out in this way? or can someone confirm that the ultimate one big-w/sanity etc has the same thing?

I highly doubt it. What's in the tin is the same version you buy on it's own for $27 right down to the ratings logos. It would be strange that what they put in the box for other retailers is different from the regular 3-disc release and the JB exclusive. Seems like a lot of trouble and very unlikely.
