I bought my primary set, a Sony Grand WEGA SXRD 50" for Christmas, 2006. My wife, has never been one to understand my obsession with techno gadgetry. Back in the day, it took a lot of convincing for her to see the logic in purchasing a conventional 27" CRT TV. Needless to say, it took a heck of a lot of convincing to get her to agree to pull the trigger on the big screen. When the new set was delivered and set up, the first thing she said was, "That looks too small, because I can see gaps at the sides of the cabinet. You should have ordered the 60" set."

I just don't get women. Next time, I'm definitely going bigger.
