A) Brown won't leave Texas until he is ready to go. I wouldn't be against Muschamp though.
B) I don't want a 59 year old head coach, I want long term.

Texas fans are quite ticked right now, they're not used to such a horrible season or being the 4th or 5th best team in the state. If they have another season like that I can't see Mack Brown staying there.

There isn't much to worry about, I'm sure they will be right back to 9+ win seasons next year. They always recruit very well, it was just a very uncharacteristic year for them.

I don't like Georgia, but Richt is a pretty good coach. Definitely better than Shannon. His 7-2 bowl record (3 Sugar Bowl victories) speaks for itself. And he's 4 wins shy of a 100. And as you mentioned, he has ran a clean program there. See, I prefer someone like him to lead the Canes. But, why would he leave the Bulldogs over the Canes? Even though he hasn't been as successful there in the last few years. I'm not sure that I guy that established at a program would take a chance on a job like ours. But then again, who knows?

Richt is a great coach UGA has just been hampered by injuries for years... If you could get that guy

Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley obviously meant a lot more to that team than people thought, not to mention all the starters they lost on defense, not sure they can fix all of that with just one more recruiting class.

Well Gilbert didn't exactly play like everyone thought he would, after looking pretty good in the NC game he actually didn't improve once given the keys to the car. Hopefully next year it'll turn around for him.

It's crazy how much Texas' name alone is a draw for recruits. They went 5-7 this season, and they still currently have the number one recruiting class.

That only happened because once Colt went out, Alabama went into prevent and it worked, they still won the game handily.

I'm just hoping we can hang onto Bridgewater with the firing of Randy Shannon. I'm really hoping he doesn't jump ship to another school. Our saving grace is that he is from Miami and has been a die hard 'Canes fan his whole life.

Wisconsin is better than TCU, only Chad would argue in favour of TCU there.

They moved up 4 spots, not bad at all for 1 win I think. They should get a nice BCS bowl at the end of the season for their efforts.
