It was released on DVD, as I have it. It's a double DVD.

Why buy the DVD? The Blu-ray is superior in every way. You're purchasing a concert: get the one with uncompressed audio - 24 bit audio at that! I own it and it is the best sounding concert Blu I've heard. I think the picture quality on some other titles is a little better but that's not saying it's bad and it's certainly still a major step up from the DVD.

Amazon's got it for $16 at the moment. A small price to pay for 3 hours of 96 kHz 24-bit auditory bliss.

And The Cure plays the show whenever you want them to - right in your living room!

A Cure concert by demand any time you want. It doesn't get much better then that! That is unless Robert Smith and co. actually rocked up to your place.

According to Robert himself in Oct 09, both In Orange and Show were supposed to be released on DVD in 2010 with an open-ended sentence leaving speculation of a Blu-ray release as well.

As with most of the remastered Cure projects, they come, but in their own sweet time.

That is a fantastic price for anyone who hasn't picked this up yet.

I just saw The Cure perform a different trilogy on the Reflections Tour in NYC. Fantasic concert for Cure diehards; plenty of obscure b-sides were played in the encore. I hope this tour will make it to Blu-ray someday.

I wish the trilogy had been:

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me > Disintegration > Wish

Very tempted to buy this at 10.99 to get the 24/96 dts-ma, but I already have the DVD and I can't say it's in my player enough to justify.

Not super keen on the other two albums...but I think even just for Disintegration it is extremely tempting. It's been in my cart for over 24 hours.

Pull the trigger for Disintegration alone! You can even choose to watch just that album and at that price I'd say it's worth it.

Yeah I pulled the trigger. Last night I was thinking about Last Dance, Plainsong, Swimming, Lullaby, it made the decision a lot easier.

Just ordered it (yes, unfortunately for the price of 15 dollars.). First Amazon US order btw

Question, does the audio mix actually use all 5 channels for music? To specify, 2 concerts I have barely use the rear speakers for music, they are mostly used for audience sounds (which is a pity, as a full soundstage sounds a lot better).

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the concert cuts out just as they are about to play the encore and you have to go to special features to play the encore? And then you have to go back to special features to play the credits? The DVD plays the whole thing as one piece like it's suppose to. It wouldn't even bother me so much if it faded to black after Bloodflowers and then you had to play the encore separately. But it just cuts out. I even went through all of the titles on the disc and there's no way to play the whole thing as one. It's very disappointing.

Yes, it does. Most of the music is the front three channels, but there is a nice surround effect in the rears (some guitar work & other various sounds). Smith's vocals are clearly coming out of the center channel.

It's a must own blu-ray.

I imagine we will see Show before In Orange. I would love to see Robert with that short hair in HD though, plus I think In Orange is a better concert in my opinion, just because I like more of there earlier work.

Fingers crossed, but they might be crossed for along time.
