If you can find a way to break up the HT are from the rest of the basement, that would help..... as obviously doing the entire basement with Auralex ceiling panels would be ridiculously expensive.

that's bad news! My tiles are the 2' x 4' size.. which are probably even more expensive..

The theater room will be separate from the rest of the room though, so I'll just be painting that area. Sounds like I'll be painting my tiles too!
