Inside there are no differences to be found except the holo slip version had a square shreddable security tag whereas the plain slip had a rectangular tag. Notice how Mater's color is duller on the holo slip.

Congrats shin, nice bathroom pic there correct? Also are you keeping both copies? How does the 10% off work if it's only on a sell item? I've tired to use a % coupon and they always ring up zero.

Damn it! I forgot my coupon when I went to BB yesterday! Maybe I should get it from Toys R Us since I have a store credit there.

Best Buy: 5 copies, all plain slip
target: 3 copies, 2 plain slip & 1 holo slip

This one seems to be a different version in a way since the holo slip has a UPC sticker. Generally I only see these UPC stickered Disney slips are target but someone stated they found it at a Best Buy too...

No bathroom photos for me. That's under my stove light.

Well usually people there just take 10% off what I buy for me, but tonight the details were:

$18.99 Mater's Tall Tales
12% off coupon scanned
$16.72 + tax = $17.72 - $8 DMR coupon
Total price was around $9.72

The only thing I don't like about the Inception cover is their faces. Since they're so small on the cover it looks weird.

Went out today and saw both the flat slip and the holo at BB. I have the holo one already so I may pick up the regular slip and sell the discs.

The part that sucks most is that the BB I went to yesterday had all holo slips, none plain. But that's in a different city. We'll see tomorrow...

Well the 10% off is for media items, 12% off is for other things such as TVs. I was surprised my friend took the 12% off the two BDs but who am I to argue that?

You saw the holo Mater at BB? You own the holo slip and movie already? Why buy another just for the slip? Or are you just trying to turn a profit on the BD only and keep the slip?

Maybe the shiny version was to be a store exclusive but the packaging people screwed up and sent it to everyone? Who knows. Disney does all kind of odd things with slips. Bolt had two slips on the first day so it's not a new practice. They still retain points with me for having the coolest slips.

Most of my BF haul came in over the last few days. Maybe 15 titles or so I'm waiting on. I miscounted how much I spent and overdid it a little this year. Going to only pick up exclusives until January. Need time to recover!

Yeah, the BB in question is close to my university, but it's very exclusive. They had shitloads of talking Shrek boxes and Inception boxsets too. Almost like no one touched them, and it was like 11:30 - noon.

Yep at my local BB that's all they had on release day and still have. They got in a shipment of the flat slips awhile back.

And yeah I want both slips so I may double dip and sell the other one online or to family. Oh yeah is there any way to get the Holiday packs listed to be able to add the the collection or is that wishful thinking.

My BB had no Inception exclusives left tonight. The store only had 6 I believe Tuesday morning since I snatched two at midnight.

I'll be returning mine unless a member needs one who couldn't find it. I'm not a scalper and have no intentions to sell them on eBay.

That's tough, I'll ask Deciazulado or jw since it's up to them. IMO I'd say yes since they are a different design you see in store, but they may not want them since the only difference is a slipcover. They wouldn't want two versions of Mater's Tales listed, as an example.

aww I'm not a scapler. Knowing me I'll probably keep it. I have a bad habit of buying them and keeping them. It seems odd not to have the movie with the slip. I still have all the extra copies of AIWL and I could have sold.

No no, that wasn't directed at you at all. I meant that I have two copies up for grabs if someone couldn't find them, but am not advertising on the forum looking for buyers.
