I don't think it's real anyways. Fugitive Kind/Z would be the 1st films to have gone back and done a blu of after they have done blu releases. If so, I'll be pissed because Dillinger is Dead should get the same, since they would of had to go back and get the rights to Fug Kind's blu release, when Dillinger is a Janus film and should be easy to release.

Yeah I don't know how much I believe out of that post. I would rebuy Z (Very under-rated film It gets better with each viewing and The Fugitive Kind in a heartbeat on BLU... but I think it would be better for a Cassavetes BLU Box Set instead of the single titles...but I'd bite at any.

Well, it's not so much that you need to believe him. He's telling the truth in what he saw on HighDef Digest's website. It's them I would question. There's probably a plethora of questionable titles on that list of movies that have either been rumored or announced w/no specific release date

Yes...or a Bergman set, for that matter. Though there are already (2) Bergmans on blu and no Cassavetes yet.

Someone already pointed out that the The Fugitive Kind would be a blu release of a title originally released in the blu-ray era, Z falls into that category as well.

I'm not trying to "blame" anyone, but there are reasons not to get too pumped up about the HiDef Digest listings. I think those are autogenerated from Amazon. You see the same thing on this site (occassionally), BR's showing up on the new pre-order list that have already been released, rumored releases that have a placeholder page etc.

FWIW, I hope they all get released on BR, I just wouldn't soil my shorts just yet.

No, but I did check out the trailer...now that looks pretty bad-ass. I wonder if I can get it from blockbuster.com. I will try it later at home...
