. cannot wait to own this. Fantastic movie, closely followed the book, and was easily the best of the movies thus far.

I can't wait for part 2. It seems stupid to me not release part 1 close to 2 but that's my opinion.

Does anyone remember Kill Bill's release? Was part 1 several months or a year before part 2? (either theatrical or home video/consumer release)

Kill Bill was released approx. 6 months apart (Oct. 10, April 16). Same with BTTF 2 & 3 (Nov. 22, May 25).

Nothing stupid about releasing it in the heart of the summer blockbuster season where it will make the most money. I don't like waiting either, but Warner Bros. never consulted me.

Cannot wait for this release! I love the film (saw it three times in theaters) and find it to be the best thus far of the series. I'm excited to hear about extras.

Must say, have enjoyed the last couple of movies more than the early ones, the later ones seem to be more adult orientated ones, parts one and two will be first day buys for me.

Well I guess I'll have to break down one of these days and watch Harry Potter movies - I'm probably the only person on the planet not to have seen any of them...

have held out on buying the Harry Potter BD's until they release the whole set in one package. hopefully using the Ultimate Editions they are currently releasing.

It's a shame France jumped the gun and released the single editions in the awesome Hogwarts castle replica
