Oh right, I thought it was just because the machines were tunneling to bypass the defenses, I figured that meant alarms and anti-squid weaponry and the ships, guess not.

Gunna go watch Transporter now, I hope its better than The Sound of Music, because Kate Beckinsale is hot, but Michael Jordan is really good too.

I'll watching those DVR'd Indiana Jones tonight, expect a review for each. Don't know if they'll be long or short, depends on my mood after watching them.

Squid, I forgot to respond to your post on Temple of Doom.
Was it being too dark the only thing you didn't like about it or just the major factor?

Well, they were. I think Cmdr Lock sent all the hovercrafts to the machine army to try and surprise-attack them. Bane messed it up.

It's never clear what the defenses Zion had for the front gate. Looked like a few APUs, maybe an EMP.

It was a dumb tactic anyway. Lock was a jerk.

I know a lot of folks hate it. I don't see why; I love the action, and I thought it was a superb finale.

Pretty much. Children as slaves etc. I went in expecting a silly Indy film, and then it was kinda heavy in tone.

My son just asked, "Can we watch Inception again. I liked it." I tried explaining the floating thing and he seemed to understand. He even remembered the names of EVERY character. Where's the proud emoticon?................um well.....this will have to do i guess.

I remember the filmmakers saying this was meant to be Indiana Jones going to Hell. It does have some heavy violent stuff (hence the birth of the PG-13 rating).

And yet, I think it still has some goofy parts. Like the dinner scene, and most scenes with Short Round.

"You call him Dr Jones!!"

Smart kid, here's the smiley you want.
Wish I still had a DVD copy of Wedding Crashers, that's another movie I'd love to take along on my trip tomorrow.

No, use this one...

And if your son "asked", you should use a question mark, not a period. Your son knows that. Are you trying to set a bad example?

I agree, it wasn't what I was expecting....that and I didn't like the movie in general anyway

I guess you didn't like Data in Goonies either then, pretty sure it's the same actor, checking IMDb now. Wow he was in Encino Man too, who knew?

Saw the first one again recently, I think in August? 4/5 for that one, I think I liked 2 and 3 more though so I will try to see those ASAP. Hopefully they'll air soon on DirecTV on one of the channels I get.

They're playing all weekend on USAHD.

They are probably playing right now.
