USA The Universe: 7 Wonders of the Solar System (2010) Blu-ray 3D [Region Free]

Hi,

I've heard that the History Channel's 'Universe: 7 Wonders of the Solar System' will be released in January 2011 and that it'll be an all-region release.

My questions are simple. Does anyone have details as to how long this lasted(running time, I mean)? Also what there may be by way of bonus features(assuming it's not too early for this question)?

I'd be grateful for an answer to either of these questions.

John.

Amazon says it's 47 min long. Not sure if it has bonus features.

*I just noticed Best Buy says it comes out today, everyone else says Jan 11, 2011.

Thank you MaxPower111 for that. I was informed differently(someone told me it was a whole series although I doubted it) about the length. I was told it was three programmes of 1 hour each. Still I'll be content with the running time(three hours would have put a crimp in my wallet, not to mention watching for that length of time).

For now the bonus features can remain an unknown. Probably there won't be any. Maybe that kind of info will be published somewhere later.

John.

Theres no extra features on the disc...

And I can't say the main feature is anything do jump up and down for....

If you enjoy space these titles will give you more pleasure and better 3D natural effect.

IMAX Space Station 3D

IMAX Hubble 3D

Thank you dealerovski for that. I missed the IMAX film 'Hubble 3D' but did get to see 'Space Station 3D' at an IMAX theatre in London. It made me think it would be a good one to get when it's released as a 3D blu ray. So far, all I've seen are what is termed "back-up" discs of it though(nothing for the Hubble one) on eBayUK but I have no intention of buying them(I'm reckoning they'll be like the old pirate dvds with poor quality picture and sound, although that's a guess).

Enough of that, I will get 'Universe: 7 Wonders of the Solar System' when it's released but, until then, I'll content myself by buying anything in 3D that grabs my interest; the December release I'm currently waiting for is a case in point: 'Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole'. I've had it on order from a company called blu-bastard(that is the correct name) for about a month now--ever since it was announced.

Sorry if this seems like I'm rambling. John.

My worst 3D experiance yet. Not worth the $25 I paid for it( Best Buy ).
I was reminded of Wing Commander 1 while watching it. LOL
