Default Anyone know which B&W ceiling speakers will match my system?

Hi guys

Due to the size and shape of my lounge, the only way i think i can make my 3.1 setup a 5.1 setup is to get ceiling speakers.

My current system is all B&W 600 series - 2 x 683 + 1 x HTM-62 + 1 x 610XP.

There are a ton of options for ceiling speakers on the B&W website here: http://www.bowers-wilkins.co.uk/Spea...es/CI-600.html

Anyone have any idea about which ones i should be considering? I wanna budget out what this upgrade would cost (including the installation which i'm sure is gonna be the most expensive bit).

Any and all advice appreciated...

I think the CCM663SR or CCM64SR would be perfect for your application.

Hey Hammie

Thanks for the reply!

I'm guessing you meant the 664 as i can't find a 64. Also, not sure why you added the SR - that just means single, right? I'd be better off buying these as a pair, right?

So... Between the CCM663 and the CCM 664 i think i'm leaning towards the CCM663. That's because the 663 has an aluminium dome tweeter, whereas the 664 has a soft dome tweeter, and i think the aluminium would gel better with my existing speakers (which all have aluminium dome tweeters).

Thanks again for the info. The price and spec of the CCM663 appears to be the perfect fit for my existing setup.

Yes, I meant the 664. Sorry.

They look like great speakers. Good luck and let us know your thoughts once you get them.
