Default any news of a Saw 1-7 boxset?

as 7 is the last, is there any chance of a 1-7 boxset with extras and goodies etc?
i've been putting off buying them until one is announced but if nothing is on the horizon i might just give in

Default I'd wait.

I haven't heard anything. There will be a set eventually, the only question is when. It will probably come with a hacksaw.

There won't be a saw 8 in 2011, they would have announced it already. You can bet they will try to revive the series 5-10 years from now, though.

I'm still holding out hope that we get a Jigsaw corpse, and each disc is placed somewhere in his body.

Too far?

I heard about guy who sold body parts as art pieces. Why not. Your idea makes sense considering the movies, and Jigsaw probably would have liked it.

I have a feeling it's also not the last movie. I mean how are you going to end a 7 movie series like that?

The only problem is that I'm not sure there's really been a saw set on Blu-Ray though there have been on DVD.

I'm pretty sure seven was the number they settled on after about the second movie or so. I may be wrong, but I'm sure there is at least one person here that would know.

I'm also waiting for a set before I continue buying them.

Well they were saying they'd continue as long as people still go, then they said 7. But now by the ending, I don't think it's over.

Originally, the plan was to end it at VI. Then apparently the movies did good enough to extend the franchise to one more film. That, and they wanted one in 3D.

VII is the end. They would've announced another one already if there was going to be one.

Actually, I think they were going to do 6 movies, then 8, then moved back to 7 when the sixth movie didn't do as good at the box office as they expected.

Considering they're putting "Saw: The Final Chapter" on the cover of Saw 3D, I think it's safe to assume it'll be the last one...
Wouldn't be surprised if a box set is announced in time for Halloween next year.

I would love a box set which should include both cuts or more of each film on each disc with new extras and a special box. I wouldnt doubt it woudl come out in October to continue the trend of spending money on Saw during Halloween. If they do continue it in the future with another storyline, hopefully they change the name of the series or something. Maybe Saw: Legacy or Saw: The Phantom Menace?

I'm sure there will be a box set sometime in the next year or so. But, with how cheap they all are right now, why wait? I bought them all a couple months ago for dirt cheap, I haven't even seen any of them yet, they were a good price though so I bought them. I don't think a box set is gonna get you much better of a deal than you can get them for singly now. Unless of course you're holding out for some sweet box set, which I doubt we'll get. The studio will probably slap the releases that are already out now into some cheap piece of cardboard and call it a box set.
