A Walk To Remember is one of the greatest romance movies ever made. It really needs to be on blu-ray, tried to watch the DVD recently and it was depressing quality.

Iron Monkey

Director: Woo-ping Yuen
Writers: Tai-Muk Lau, and Cheung Tan
Mains: Rongguang Yu, Donnie Yen and Jean Wang

"Who is the Iron Monkey?"

Plot (IMDb): A doctor fights the corrupt authorities as a masked Robin Hood hero, even while another martial artist/doctor is forced to hunt for him.

My Take: I cant lie i enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Just think of Robin Hood mixed with Killer Kung Fu and Good Comedy. Donnie Yen does an amazing job and the stunts were amazing. Some seems where a bit over the top but it made it very interesting and very funny. The story is just like Robin Hood but you get to see nice kung fu and hilarious little jokes.

Conclusion: There isn't much to say about Iron Monkey except that the Kung Fu is great and the comedy is also pretty good. If you're a martial arts fan or a Donnie Yen fan i would hesitate in seeing this. If fun and full of action and the AQ is good. Lots of LFE in the fights. Quentin Tarantino presented this to the American Audience just like Hero and i must say it was Entertaining!!

There's good LFE in the fight scenes but the PQ is soft at some times.

It really is one of my favourite romances of all-time, I think you need to call up the WB and ask for a blu-ray transfer, they might listen to you. Too few Mandy Moore movies on blu-ray really.

Didn't care for the "Inquisition" musical number?

It seemed pretty even to me. The French revolution scenes stuck out on this viewing, but I like the whole thing. That's just me though; and the next viewing I might be more inclined toward one of the other eras.
