This was clearly the focal point of the movie IMO. The movie had other little stories going on. But i thought this was the most important or what Spielberg led up to.

Tom Cruise is there a remake i don't know of .

I think that is cutting it rather simple.Just after the beach landing we see Sgt.Horvath collecting mud and putting in abag full of Mud from many different places and battles.

He also states further in the film that he has been with the Captain for a while and it would seem to me the Captain has learnt to become a good leader. As most do.

Seems like a rather Irrelevant theme though for a war movie.

Although most movies are open to various interpretations and if that is yours, Who am I to say other wise.

The Dark Knight

Director: Christopher Nolan
Writer: Jonathan Nolan, and Christopher Nolan
Mains: Christen Bale, Gary Oldman, and Heath Ledger.

"You either die a Hero or live long enough to see yourself become the Villain"

Plot (IMDb): Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are forced to deal with the chaos unleashed by an anarchist mastermind known only as the Joker, as it drives each of them to their limits.

My Take: What can i say about TDK that most haven't already... This movie has to be the most entertaining super hero movie ever made. Its simply stunning how Christopher Nolan made the comic book feel so real. Ebert said it perfectly "Batman isn't a comic book anymore". Christopher Nolan has blessed us with many unique films, but TDK is by far his movie enjoyable and entertaining. Im not saying its his best movie because it isn't but this movie has the most replay value from his line up. He brings these comic book characters to life with very good precision. Every character was GREAT. Heath Ledger was AMAZING and he will always be remember for this role. Christian Bale was also amazing, many say that didn't like his voice well all i have to say is its called THE DARK KNIGHT, this the way Batman was. Not taking anything away from Keaton but this Bale's Batman is the best Batman. I loved Bruce Wayne, very cocky and arrogant but intelligent. The entire cast was perfect. They say that you find modern classical masterpiece's in movies and i cant deny that Hans Zimmer and Paul Newman's score's are RIDICULOUS. Seriously the score is AMAZINGLY GOOD. Gary Oldman last speech will alway stick in my head "He's a guardian, a watchful protector a Dark Knight".....

Conclusion: TDK has suffered allot because of hype but in all actually if you don't like superhero movies don't watch it. Its the best, entertaining super hero movie to-date. The only movie that rivals with TDK is Watchmen but they are 2 separate movies. The score is amazing and the direction is unheard of. The entire movie was a success. 93% on RT and ranked 10 on the top 250 on IMDb.com This movies replay value is through the roof, the characters are very rememberable and the action is TOP NOTCH. This movie is awesome on every level. It seems like this movie grows on you, once you thought you got enough you pop it in one more time to be thrilled like the first time. A MUST OWN

MUST OWN

5/5

Note: PQ 5/5 I wish they shot the entire movie with the IMAX cameras switching back and forth was a little irritating.
AQ 5/5 The best Dolby TruHD soundtrack i've heard.

Talk about dialogue. Non-stop sinister and twisted banter. Yikes. Good movie.

From Netflix: On a serene New England campus, emasculated professor George (Richard Burton) and his rancorous wife, Martha (Elizabeth Taylor), turn an evening of cocktails into an unrelenting onslaught of wrenching disclosures and bellowed epithets. Soon, the couple's guests -- junior professor Nick (George Segal) and his wife, Honey (Sandy Dennis) -- get sucked into the vortex of the warring duo's unbounded fury. Taylor nabbed an Oscar for her role.

That sums it up nicely. The performances are off the charts awesome. All 4 of them. This is a seriously dysfuntional group of people, fueled by large quantities of liquor, engaging in a no-holds-barred verbal asault on one another. 131 minutes of the most vial, brutal, vulgar, condescending, harm intending, bellitling and berating dialog....NON STOP. Every sentence meticulously designed to chatise, castrate, inflame and scar. The kind of stuff that once its said, can never be taken back.

Very well written, as the statements and rebuttals are all so realistic of a fueding drunken couple that has kept their contempt for each other buried for decades. The "innocent" guests have their own secrets too, and once sauced up, they join the game. And it just gets uglier and uglier.

I noticed well into the film that there was no score and no "ambient" music either. Just the atmosphere and mood sucked me in. Later, there was a little, but not much.

Interesting camera work, even if it is a little 60's artsy.

4.5/5 for insanely good dialog and acting.

Despicable Me - This was a pretty cool film. 2010 is probably the best year for animated films so this movie had a lot to live up to. Of course its not on the level of TS3 or HTTYD but it was still a fun and entertaining film. I loved Steve's voice over work and his accent. The PQ and AQ of course was excellent and the film even had a touching moment towards the end. Definite recommendation for all animated fans. Add this film to the continued great list of animated films for 2010. Got Em!!

Film Rating - 3 1/2 stars (out of 5)

PQ - 5 stars (out of 5)

AQ - 5 stars (out of 5)

Obviously this was on DVD, so PQ and AQ can't be rated.

For such an old movie, it holds up very well in terms of script, story, acting, and overall quality. I really enjoyed this movie because there were twists (of some sort), and new things popping up every once in a while that would make you go "hmmmm."

I can't really give away much in terms of the story or plot, except that this was a courtroom drama unfolding in a closed room of 12 jurors. Quite entertaining and enjoyable.... I really recommend this movie if you haven't seen it.

8/10
Sufficiently Evolved! I am glad you liked it.

Of course, one can only enjoy a movie if one watches the whole movie.
