Question And Your favorite Star Wars Planet Is...

With all the Star Wars geeks, I'm surprised I've never seen this poll before (though maybe it exists).

So what is your favorite Star Wars planet? The reason doesn't matter. It could be because you liked a particular part of the story that happened there, maybe you like the way it looks or would like to live there yourself... Any reason, just tell us what the reason is.

Mine is Kamino, because I love the watery landscape & I epecially love the rain. If I could live somewhere where it rained constantly, I would.

I've only listed locations that actually appeared in the films. No E.U. planets or planets only mentioned in the films.

I think I'd like Naboo, looks technologically advanced and still lush enough to be a relaxing place to live.

If it weren't for Kamino (and my odd love of rain), Naboo would have been my runaway pick.

I never thought if listing The Death Star as an option.

Coruscant for me. I love me a futuristic city-planet. Kamino and Naboo comes close though.

Even though it's only shown in like one thirty second scene, Alderaan looks gorgeous! That'd probably be my kinda place.

Just get me out of there when the Death Star comes...

Actually I too am surprised not to see the Death Star as an option, Though I guess it's no moon, It's a Space Station

I choose Hoth. . Love the battle scenes.

Interestingly enough, I'd reserve a little pad on the great sky city, aswell ^^. Not sure which planet this was on ^^.

Bespin. Would probably have been my second, third, fourth choice. It looked so pretty in the movie.

Just gotta be carefull not to fall off the ledge or anything...

I know it's not in any of the films, but I have to choose Korriban, because the way it's protrayed in EU, particularly the Knights of the Old Republic games, is just so dark and mysterious that it's utterly believable that it's the planet of the Sith.

I'm with Gandalf re Naboo. It looks like it would just be a cool planet in which to live.

For going out and enjoying the nightlife, I'm sure nothing could beat Coruscant.

As for Hoth, I'm really not sure all those who say they like the cold would really be able to get used to below-freezing temperatures pretty much year-round - and for all we know, the Rebels could have picked the warmer part of the planet to build their base.

Yeah, I really wanted to add Korriban, Manaan, Dantooine & the "unknown" planet from KotOR, but I had to draw a line somewhere. Had I have added them, I just may have picked Manaan over Kamino.

I would have picked Nar Shaddaa as my second choice. The place was atmospheric to the point of claustrophobia. If ever put to film, a Howard Shore score is the only music that could do it justice. And Han got to be his old self* there.

I chose Dagobah...a nice quiet place where no one will knock over my mailbox. Until someone crashes an X-wing into my pond...:

I chose the forest moon of Endor. As long as you have a trusty blaster at your side and some matches for a fire, you could have enough Ewok meat to last a lifetime. Plus, cool speeder bikes to ride around on.
