Wow! The two Screwball movies and now this! I wouldn't be surprised if they went after RAD, which was one of my favorites growing up.

Man, I hope so. I loved RAD as a kid and I'd grab it in a heartbeat.

Rad NEVER even has had a legitimate DVD release to this day!

In the 80's this movie was on HBO constantly, it seemed. As a kid I couldn't get enough of PJ, Goose, and Powder Puff.

If Severin Films can give us this gem then surely they can deliver "Thrashin'" and "The North Shore".

ROFL

Rented this on DVD in like 2008 or something. Totally felt different than watching it as a kid (as opposed to champions). I used to dream about BMX bandits, and I think the dreams were more lavish and high budget looking with immersion and I think nicole kidman was hotter? I mean she was like 16 here and really unrefined, certainly no hollywood tricks here..just bike ones.

I really used to feel like the bikes were the main characters. I wanted to own one and wear all their color coded outfits etc. Come on now don't hate, I was like 7 when I saw it on VHS...

Not a biking film, but I'm sure some people would like the now cult skating film "Gleaming The Cube" on blu as well! The DVD went OOP very quicly back in the day.

Solid. Now all we need are RAD, Gleaming the cube, north shore, thrashin, and of course the pinnacle of film making: AIRBORNE... I would buy any and all of those in a second.

Do they ride down a water slide with their bikes in this one?

Yeah pretty sure they do. I used to remember it being totally insane but in 2008 it seemed cool but really staged and manageable. I used to think it was out-of-this-world dangerous as a kid.

I seen this in HD on SHO a few days ago and it looked stunning, the Blu should be outstanding. The colors of the bikes and the costumes were vibrant and beautiful

I didn't know Susan Boyle had a cameo in this movie! Check her out at the 8 second mark in this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsNjq...eature=related

Nicole's hair in this one is Crazy Friz.
I loved this movie growing up, but I don't think I'll be purchasing it.
Still has me confused as to why this title, don't get me wrong I like the fact there going after some rather lower and I mean lower profile films.

Very true, but it did play on a HD channel and a copy of that is floating around. Not too bad quality either considering it's a low budget 80s film.
