I have a small den I use for a theater room. I want to put in a row of two theater seats. I found Seatcraft Rialto row of two with a middle flip-up arm at 4seating.com. I like this option becouse it can be recliners or loveseat. At 74 it will just make in my small space. Anyone own or know anything about this brand? I sure would like to know more about the quality before buying. Thank's

I have 2 leather Berkline power recliners w/Buttkickers and console wedge that I bought from HTMarket 2 or 3 years ago and they are easily the best furniture purchase I ever made. They're in our large non-dedicated family room in which I also installed a 120" screen built into the ceilind and projector and they fit the room beautifully. My wife was a little hesitant buying expensive furniture without feeling or sitting in it but after reading the great Berkline reviews on this forum I figured 'how could I go wrong?'. When they were delivered my wife couldn't believe how extraordinarily comfy they were. They are our everday seats and the motors are going just as strong today as when new. I'm a young retiree with 4 young kids (who only occasionally get to sit in them) so those chairs probably have as much use as a working person would get in 7-10 years. I liked HTMarket's customer care so much I just bought a Berkline queen sleeper from them. Good thing for us that they don't have a store front near me, I'd be broke for sure!
To add something to those couple of that have replied to this thread who own Lazy Boy recliners---they probably aren't nearly as comfy as the Berkline but after more than 20 years my Lazy Boy recliner was due for replacement and it was sad to see it go. It was also a pain in the butt to try and demolish it so I could fit it in the trash can! Many tiring swings with a sledge hammer and a few cuts with a sawz-all finally did it in. |

Well....I started out with 2 rows of theater seats. I ended up selling them for 2 reasons. The first was because of my infant daughter. It was way to difficult to watch movies in those chairs because of her. She wanted to climb all over them and it was hard to keep her entertained in the room. The second was because my first row was to close to the screen.
I had this idea that a comfy couch would make the room more toddler friendly and cozy. Well.....it did, but....it totally and completely ruined the whole theater feel to the room....I dont even particularly care to watch movies in there anymore....Sports, yes, movies...no |

We just bought a house (Won't be complete till next Feb 2012) and the wife gave me the go a head to plan out the basement into a man cave
![]() I'm planning to mix a sofa and a set of berklines in the rear. It was mentioned before but she like to cuddle up during movies and she hates the separation of the seats. I figure she's letting me finish the basement right after we move in, and I've got creative control of the room so it doesn't bother me at all. |

I bought my 1st HT lounge 3 and a half years ago and my fiancée absolutely loved it, I say loved because we don't own it anymore as we just recently bought a new HT lounge which is much better quality than the 1st 1 we bought, and she loves the new 1 even more (see my HT gallery for pics of both lounges). We live in an apartment and based on the shape and size of our lounge room a HT lounge was the best option anyway (unless we downsized our dinning table and chairs which we didn't want to do), but regardless we still wouldn't want it any other way, because to us there is no better or more comfortable way (and cuddling isn't an issue if we use the centre love seat) to watch movies than in reclining HT seats.

Thank you for the comment. I've actually had a few people ask me about my tv unit, the credit has to go to my brother (BR.C member Uncompressed) for it. He bought exactly the same entertainment unit for his HT setup before me, and when I saw his I knew that it was just perfect for my needs so I bought 1 too. I bought it in 2006, it's was made by a company called Everett Worthington, but I'm pretty sure it's a discontinued model now.
