Home theater seats are awesome and so comfortable. They are worth every penny (if U get the right one).
Every time I go to the movies, I miss my chairs. I feel like I'm sitting in a 3 years old little boy's wood chair.

The only suggestion I could make is to take your wife to showrooms with theater seats set up. My wife was convinced she wanted to get a matching sectional set for our HT room. That is, until she sat in some Berkline theater seats in a showroom. When she sat in them she realized just how comfortable they are, and she loved the idea of reclining with a blanket for a movie.

Now, we have a set of 3 seats, and we'll eventually get complimentary seating for guests.
